The properties of cotton spun yarn are mainly depends on fiber quality, amount of twist insertion and different process parameters. Normally good quality yarn is produced from good fiber and twist plays vital role in strength and elongation of yarn. Up to a certain limit, higher amount of twist ensures high strength and vice versa. Unevenness, imperfection and hairiness of yarn depend on fiber quality and process parameter.
